health & wellbeing

Our community interest company prioritises people’s health and well-being, it underpins all of the work we do. The quality of the environment around us affects the way we live. Issues such as pollution, air quality, noise, the availability of green and open space, transport, housing, education, family income, access to good quality food and social isolation all influence the health and wellbeing of communities (November 2010 – Department of Health).

Research has shown that an individual’s life satisfaction is directly related to their degree of social interaction or level of activity (Age UK May 2019). Mental and physical health are intertwined which is why we have developed interactive, engaging and dynamic programmes which are accessible for a wide range of people.
