Introduction to Youth Work ​

The purpose of the training is for adults to learn new skills, knowledge and understanding of how to engage and support young people.

Safeguarding – Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults

This course is aimed at staff and volunteers who work directly or indirectly with children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Safeguarding – Children and Young People

This course is aimed at all staff and volunteers who work with children and young people in settings which are not regulated. The training enables people to understand their roles and responsibilities if they have concerns about the safety or welfare of a child or young person.

Safeguarding Refresher training – Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults

This is a refresher course aimed at staff that have competed at least an initial one day safe guarding children, young people and vulnerable adults course. 

Women in Conversation

Women in Conversation’ is a programme, created for women to engage in challenging, sensitive and liberating conversations, with self and with other women.

Play Works Training

The purpose of the training is for adults to learn new skills, knowledge and understanding of how to engage and support children’s play.

The Importance of Play

This one days training is for adults to understand what play is, why it is importance for children’s development.

Within a supportive environment ashebo provides the space to enable people to work through sensitive and controversial issues. People are able to reflect on their own thoughts and the view points of others.
