The Play Works Training course is designed to help participants understand the benefits of freely chosen play and how to enable opportunities for children to flourish. Participants will learn about the role of the worker, as well as children’s behaviour and development. Cultural diversity and equality will also be explored, and participants will be able to take part in activities that encourage participation, cooperation, and teamwork.

  • How to create an effective play space
  • Risk Assessments
  • Group activities that encourages participation and cooperation
  • The role and responsibilities of the worker

Duration:
The course consists of 20 hours. It is delivered over 4 days, ideally one day a week, or over six sessions.
